Trail Connections

The Link River TRAIL is about 1 mile long and connects Upper Klamath Lake with Lake Ewauna.  It follows the Link River, one of the shortest rivers in the world! You can get to the river from the trail by looking for this sign which takes you off the main trail and heads for the river, about a 5 minute walk away.  From Main Street, it is about a 25 minute walk to this sign.

The Klamath Basin and within 70 miles surrounding it contains a huge variety of trail systems. Natural lands all contain trail systems, from national parks (Crater Lake) to national monuments (Lava Beds and Cascade-Siskiyou), to national forest lands, BLM and Fish and Wildlife holdings, state parks (Collier), and others (Lake of the Woods), and even the PCT. There is hiking for every skill level and fancy. In addition, more locally, beside the Wingwatchers trail, there are a number of other trails and trail systems maintained by several public and private agencies. These include

City of Klamath Falls- Moore Park

PacifiCorp- Link River Trail

State of Oregon- OC&E Woods Line State Trail
